Secondly, I have never seen this before but....... I installed Jbusiness directory onto a new website, and I have already been in touch with the developer who tells me it is Joomla, not him!
So, when a new user registers on the site, information appears at the top of the site indicating that admin will need to activate the account and keep an eye out for an email or something similar to that.
However..... it doesnt stay on screen like it normally should. It appears for less than a second and then disappears and this is no use to anyone as no-one registering knows what they need to do next or what the process is. Site is unusable in my opinion. However...........It did, before the developer got involved and the developer told me he just did some rewrite of permissions on folders and an update, but even after asking about the update, he didnt tell me what he did.
I would like to know how to have this information after registering appear on screen until someone either closes it or focuses on another link and it disappears, I hope you know what i mean. It is NOT a pop up box.
Is anyone knowledgeable about what I can check, change or whatever..... only option is to reinstall the whole thing which I am unwilling to do in case I lose information!!
Just to add I am using Google Chrome and have tried on Edge and my mobile phone, Apple - all does the same thing. So its not a browser issue in particular.
